Car Vending Machines
While at Carvana, I acted as art director + designer on the Car Vending Machine photo shoots. These took place before market launches, and the captured assets greatly boosted local response within the market once a launch commenced.
My involvement in the shoots ranged from personally selecting each vehicle that went into the tower, all the way to coordinating angle studies with the photographer and working to develop final image assets.
Everything’s bigger in Vegas. That’s the saying, right?
To highlight our 11-story Las Vegas Vending Machine launch, it was imperative that we capture the famous skyline of the strip in our shot. We also wanted to make the customer interaction piece inside the lobby more special by inserting a slot machine style coin pylon.
For market locations that we elected not to physically travel to, a plan was created in order to use an unused angle from a past location to composite a marketing image for a new market.
I collaborated directly with the photographer to address specific edits that would be needed in order to create a believable hero image.
